How would it feel to step back in time to 1892 and walk down Old Cushing Street, just a simple dirt road, to the Macintyre House when it was freshly built? It would be one of the first houses on the block. The sturdy construction and pure craftsmanship would shine in every detail. It was designed to impress. The Marie Bed & Breakfast will invite you into that historic world for a vivid peek into early Olympia life! Opened in September 2017, the Marie is West Olympia’s award winning bed & breakfast, providing authentic Victorian ambiance paired with world class hospitality. Located within the West Central Park Neighborhood Center, our collective focus is to build a resilient, connected community and create a space that brings history to life for our neighbors and guests!

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of our business and liabilities associated with our facility, all guests staying with us must be 17 years of age or older with at least one guest per room over the age of 18. Service animals are welcome with no additional fee, however personal pets are limited to the Oak Cottage and subject to a $25 fee.

The room was gorgeous and so comfortable, and the property was so beautiful, especially having access to the gardens to eat dinner out there! Amazing and unusual.

We have stayed at many B&Bs. Rooms usually attractive, breakfasts ok. But here is something beyond all that! Comfortable room – a little cottage for us – no stairs to climb. Access through a garden, shower “to die for” in the room, with many options. But it was the Breakfast that sold us. Not greasy… a blend of subtle flavors in an individually prepared casserole- one for each of us. And then boysenberry crepes: sweet and tart. With berries and whipped cream. So perfect!

I came in with relatively high expectations and they were exceeded in every way. Very cool and luxurious!

My favorite part was the tofu scramble and the soaps! Such nice soaps. The entire space is lovely, and I especially like the garden area with all the flowers, bees, and birds. Oh! And the bathroom!
